Cookies & consentement
Politique relative aux cookies
Une explication claire du stockage essentiel, des cookies publicitaires, des traces de consentement et de vos moyens de contrôle.
Cookie overview
PDF Core Tools uses a privacy-first browser workflow, but the website may still use cookies, local storage, consent records, security technologies, and advertising identifiers. Non-essential advertising storage should not be activated where consent is required until the user has made a choice through the consent platform.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text records placed by a website or service in a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, web beacons, device identifiers, and consent strings. Some are required for a requested function; others support preferences, measurement, advertising, or fraud prevention.
2. Categories used or expected
Strictly necessary
Security, form protection, routing, session continuity, and other functions needed to deliver a requested page or tool.
Workspace and preferences
Browser storage may remember an active route, interface choice, or temporary workspace state. Document contents are not converted into advertising cookies.
Consent records
A consent management platform may store your choices and generate consent or privacy signals for vendors.
Advertising
When AdSense is enabled, Google and authorized partners may use cookies or identifiers for ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency limits, measurement, reporting, and permitted personalization.
Performance or analytics
No separate analytics platform has been confirmed as active at the date of this policy. If one is added, this policy and the consent controls will be updated before non-essential use.
Third-party resources
CDNs and embedded services may receive connection data when a browser requests their resources, even if they do not place a traditional cookie.
3. Google advertising cookies
PDF Core Tools plans to use Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, detect invalid traffic, limit repetition, and—where allowed—select ads based on previous visits. Google explains these practices in its pages about advertising and cookies.
Non-personalized ads can still require cookies or identifiers for fraud prevention, aggregated reporting, and frequency control.
4. Consent management
For visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, personalized advertising will be configured through a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the applicable transparency framework. The platform may let you consent, decline, or manage vendors and purposes.
For supported US states, the privacy message may include an opt-out link for sale, sharing, or targeted advertising and may communicate Global Privacy Platform signals. The exact choices depend on location and applicable law.
5. How to control cookies
- Use the choices shown in the site’s consent banner or privacy message.
- Reopen the consent settings through the privacy link provided by the active consent platform.
- Use browser controls to block or delete cookies and site data.
- Use Google’s ad controls to manage advertising preferences associated with Google services.
- Send questions to pdfcoretools@gmail.com.
Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent a form, workspace route, or preference from functioning correctly.
6. Local storage used by tools
The site’s workspace may use session storage or local storage to remember navigation state or prevent a workspace from reopening incorrectly. These records are separate from the contents of files selected through the browser. Temporary file objects and generated outputs are generally kept in memory rather than stored as cookies.
7. Duration
Session records normally expire when the browser session ends. Preference and consent records may last longer so the website can remember your choice. Advertising cookie duration is controlled by the relevant vendor and may vary by purpose, region, consent status, and browser settings.
8. Updates
This Cookie Policy will be updated when a new analytics, advertising, consent, or embedded service is introduced or when the current configuration materially changes.
