Rechte & verantwortungsvolle Nutzung
Urheberrecht & geistiges Eigentum
Wie Website-Inhalte und Nutzerdateien behandelt werden und wie ein Hinweis zu geistigem Eigentum eingereicht werden kann.
1. PDF Core Tools content
The PDF Core Tools name, original written explanations, visual design, custom interface code, and other original site materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rules unless a separate licence or attribution states otherwise. Open-source libraries remain subject to their own licences.
2. User files and outputs
PDF Core Tools does not claim ownership of documents or images selected in the tools. You remain responsible for having the rights, licences, permissions, or lawful basis needed to process and use them. Creating a merged, converted, compressed, or edited file does not transfer copyright or cancel attribution and licence conditions.
3. Responsible use
Do not use the tools to reproduce, alter, distribute, remove notices from, or commercially exploit protected material without authority. Exceptions such as quotation, education, research, parody, fair use, fair dealing, accessibility, or archival use differ by country and context. The tool does not decide whether an exception applies.
4. Technical protection measures
The service does not bypass passwords, encryption, DRM, paywalls, copy controls, or other access restrictions. An inability to open a protected file is not an invitation to circumvent its protection.
5. Reporting an infringement concern
Send notices to pdfcoretools@gmail.com with the subject “Copyright Notice.” Include:
- your name, organization, and contact information;
- identification of the protected work or authorized representative status;
- the exact PDF Core Tools URL and a clear description of the material at issue;
- why you believe the use is unauthorized;
- a good-faith statement that the information is accurate;
- your physical or electronic signature where legally relevant.
Do not send the allegedly infringing confidential document unless requested through an appropriate method.
6. Review and response
We may request clarification, temporarily restrict access to disputed site content, forward the notice to the affected party, or reject incomplete or abusive notices. We may also consider a response from the affected party. This process is a general rights-contact procedure and is not a representation that PDF Core Tools has appointed a statutory copyright agent in every jurisdiction.
7. Misleading notices
Submitting a knowingly false or materially misleading rights claim may cause harm and legal consequences. Consider whether a licence, exception, authorization, public-domain status, or mistaken identification may apply before sending a notice.
8. Trademarks and third-party names
Third-party product names, formats, services, and logos belong to their respective owners. References are generally descriptive and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
