Rules for using the service
Terms of Use
The responsibilities and limits that apply when you use PDF Core Tools.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using PDF Core Tools, you agree to these Terms of Use and the related Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Copyright Policy, and Disclaimer. Do not use the service if you do not agree.
2. The service
PDF Core Tools provides browser-based utilities for PDF, image, text, compression, resizing, calculation, and related file tasks. Features, supported formats, limits, output methods, and processing models can differ by tool and may change as the service develops.
3. Current free access
The currently published public tools are available free of charge and generally without an account. Free access is not a permanent price guarantee. Optional paid features, higher limits, or premium services may be introduced later, but any charge will be shown before the user agrees to it.
4. Your files and required rights
You retain responsibility for the files you select and the outputs you create. You must own the material, have permission or a licence, or have another lawful basis to process it. Using a tool does not transfer copyright, remove attribution duties, change confidentiality obligations, or grant permission from a rights holder.
5. Prohibited use
- Processing or distributing material unlawfully or without required rights;
- attempting to bypass passwords, encryption, DRM, paywalls, access controls, or technical restrictions;
- using the service for malware, fraud, harassment, exploitation, unlawful surveillance, or deceptive documents;
- interfering with the website, probing security without authorization, overwhelming infrastructure, or automating abusive requests;
- misrepresenting PDF Core Tools as the author, certifier, or official issuer of an output;
- using advertising or interface elements in a way intended to generate invalid traffic or clicks.
6. Tool limits and device requirements
Browser memory, device performance, supported formats, and file complexity still affect practical performance. There is no fixed page or file-count limit, but large or numerous files can take longer to process.
You are responsible for using a compatible browser, maintaining enough free memory and storage, and keeping an original backup.
7. Outputs and verification
Conversions and edits may change layout, fonts, links, forms, signatures, metadata, transparency, image quality, accessibility tags, or other document features. Review the result before relying on it, especially for legal, financial, medical, academic, employment, tax, identity, or government documents.
PDF Core Tools does not certify that an output is complete, authentic, legally effective, accessible, or suitable for a particular filing system.
8. Availability and changes
Tools may be modified, suspended, removed, limited, or interrupted for maintenance, security, compatibility, legal, or operational reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted access or continued support for every browser, format, feature, or limit.
9. Third-party components, links, and advertising
The site may use open-source libraries, CDNs, hosting providers, consent services, and Google AdSense. Third-party services operate under their own terms and policies. External links and advertisements are not endorsements, and PDF Core Tools is not responsible for third-party products or content.
10. No warranties
The service is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee error-free operation, a particular conversion result, permanent availability, compatibility with every file, or protection against every device, browser, network, or third-party risk.
11. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PDF Core Tools is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from use or inability to use the service, including lost files, lost profits, missed deadlines, corrupted outputs, or reliance on an unverified conversion. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Enforcement and termination
Access may be restricted when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, advertising systems, rights holders, or legal compliance. We may investigate suspected misuse and cooperate with valid legal requests.
13. Changes to these terms
Updated terms may be posted when the service or legal environment changes. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
14. Contact
