Compress & Resize Tools
Compress files, resize images, and prepare common image dimensions.
Decide whether you need fewer bytes or different pixels
Compression and resizing solve different problems. A compressor aims to reduce file size while keeping the same basic image dimensions or document structure. A resizer changes the pixel canvas itself. If an upload form rejects a 2 MB image but accepts its current width and height, start with compression. If a platform requires an exact 1280×720, 1080×1920, or 1080×1080 canvas, use the matching resize preset or the custom Image Resizer.
The generic Image Compressor lets you work with supported image formats and choose compression behavior. JPG Compressor, PNG Compressor, and WebP Compressor are format-specific routes. Compress Image Under 100KB and Under 200KB use fixed target-size contracts rather than an editable target field. For dimensions, Image Resizer is the flexible route, while the 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, YouTube, Instagram Story, and Facebook Cover tools use predefined output geometry.
Smaller files and smaller pixel dimensions are not interchangeable. Strong compression can introduce visible artifacts, while aggressive resizing can remove detail even when the encoded file still looks clean. Keep the source, check text and edges at normal viewing size, and use the narrowest tool that matches the requirement imposed by the destination service.
